EOTD: Gilded & Green

Today I had a very powerful urge to do something with a deeper forest green. Fall is beginning to arrive (translation: it's been raining constantly) and I wanted something autumnal but warm, so I paired the greens with gold and a touch of light brown. I love how the tinge of green in MAC Barefoot - which is admittedly a bit of an odd gold colour - melds with the other deeper greens to create a really harmonious green to gold gradient...like they were meant to be together! I think this is probably my favourite combo with MAC Barefoot that I've tried yet. I made the overall shape more elongated than I usually do, and I think that it somehow works with this colour scheme.  I really enjoyed wearing this today and received several nice compliments on it, which was a nice mood-booster - much needed what with the weather being so dreary and depressing!

I used:
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Mossy Green - outer third of lid, as a base
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold - middle of lid, as a base
MAC Wedge - in the crease
MAC Barefoot - middle of lid, inner lower lash line
Urban Decay Mildew - outer third of lid
Wet n Wild Comfort Zone deepest green - to deepen outer corner, outer lower lash line, upper lash line
Wet n Wild Comfort Zone lightest beige - innermost portion of lid, inner corner highlight
Coastal Scents Buttermilk Nude - under brow highlight
Revlon PhotoReady 3D Waterproof mascara
Clinique Bottom Lash mascara

Thanks for looking!
